We stumbled upon this adorable little campground, Port of Cascade Locks, adjacent to a boat launch in Cascade Locks, OR. After we left the Portland area, we had our hearts set on seeing Multnomah Fallas. We’d heard great things about Multnomah Falls and have been told it’s a MUST visit when visiting Oregon. Much to our surprise, you could actually see the spectacular waterfall from the highway. You could also see the sea of people who were visiting the area to get up close to the falls. We drove by twice and saved ourselves the trouble of dealing with the crowd.
We only spent one evening in Cascade Locks, OR but we did get a chance to head down to a small little brewery and I even got in a run through the town the next morning. All in all, it was a great little town to visit for the evening with an awesome campground.
